Each hood from the Soft Silence collection is crafted from exceptionally fine yarns, blends of alpaca with wool or silk. These natural fibers reward you with softness, lightness, and durability if cared for with a little mindfulness.

They generally don't require frequent washing. Fresh air effectively refreshes natural fibers, so after wearing, it's often enough to simply air out the hood. However, should the time come when it needs refreshing, we recommend gentle care.

Gentle washing
– Hand wash in lukewarm water up to 30°C.
– Use a liquid detergent specifically for wool and delicate fibers, free of enzymes and bleaching agents.
– Do not leave the hood in water for extended periods. Gently knead the material, avoiding rubbing and twisting.

Rinsing
Rinse the hood until the water is completely clear. Maintain the same water temperature for each rinse – natural fibers dislike sudden temperature changes.

Drying
After washing, gently remove excess water.
You can:
- press out the water in a soft towel,
- or use a short spin cycle (around 800 rpm) on a program that does not start by drawing water.
Never twist the material.

Dry the hood flat to help it retain its shape. It's best to leave it on a drying rack in a well-ventilated room or on a warm towel. Avoid direct sunlight and tumble drying.
